Our Journey So Far

2003

The Dream

Crystal dreamed the first song of Immortal. Within a week, ten songs were written. Within a month—25 songs, a full script, and an entire plot. The show wrote itself.

2003–2015

Years of Refinement

Countless revisions, rewrites, and refinements. The show was polished through years of collaboration, with Crystal and Matt shaping every melody, lyric, and plot twist.

NYC

The New York Chapter

Crystal and Matt moved to New York City to pursue the show professionally. After an intense season of pitching and producing, they stepped back to raise their family in Florida—but the dream never died.

March 2025

The Staged Reading

Immortal returned to the stage with a live staged reading in Florida—a concert-style presentation with minimal blocking and raw vocal performances. The audience response was electric.

Now

Sharing It With the World

The team is releasing weekly music videos from the staged reading on YouTube, building the fanbase, and working toward a full theatrical production. This is just the beginning.

Crystal Collier

Director & Author

Crystal Collier is a composer, contest-winning author, and vocalist who produced her first show in 1990. She taught and directed children's theatre, winning the NHS film festival in 1998 and 1999. She first penned IMMORTAL the Musical in 2003. Subsequent credits include the Maiden of Time book series, anthology contributions, lead editor at Raybourne publishing, running writing contests, composing/arranging for/leading various choirs, teaching music composition and writing classes, and two years establishing SLHE's musical theater program. Her latest work, a public reading of IMMORTAL the Musical, garnered rave reviews.

J. Mattew Collier

Producer & Co-Author

J. Mattew Collier began his theater career as an actor, eventually deciding he was too left-brained to pursue that end of the arts. As a hobby chef, he is also an editor, publisher, financial strategist, business owner, video/audio engineer, graphics designer, software engineer, and arts supporter. One of his greatest accomplishments has been championing his wife's dreams and pushing her to make every creative endeavor better, even when she disagrees vehemently. He is a wonderful father and leader in his church and home.

Terrah Bradshaw Denham

Assistant Director

Terrah Bradshaw Denham is delighted to be making her directing debut with Crystal and Matt Collier's stage reading for IMMORTAL the musical. Recent/Favorite credits include Neil Simon's LAST OF THE RED HOT LOVERS with Disney' S.T.A.G.E group, Agatha Christie's TEN LITTLE INDIANS with Celebration Community Theatre, and OKLAHOMA. She also contributed TO MARY QUEEN OF THE UNIVERSE'S first CD recording, and with THE DICKENS CAROLERS. She has musical training from UCF, Valencia Community College and has also trained at Brigham Young University in fine arts.

In the candlelit world of shadowy ballrooms, ancient curses, and forbidden love, Immortal the Musical tells a haunting, romantic tale that will captivate fans of epic classics like The Phantom of the Opera, Les Misérables, and Wicked.

For three centuries, an immortal has traveled the world—running from both the family sworn to destroy him, and the monster he fears he's become. Sustained by blood yet haunted by conscience, Lucas Delamark exists in the lonely space between man and legend.

But in England, 1792, fate intervenes. Thirsty and weakened, he attends a glittering, aristocratic ball and encounters Justine Raybourne, the sheltered daughter of his overprotective, neighboring baron. His silent heart stirs and in a moment written by destiny, Lucas finds hope and Justine glimpses freedom.

Their romance unfolds despite the watchful eye of Phineas Raybourne, a relentless vampire hunter whose family has pursued Lucas across generations. Driven by duty and determined to finish a centuries-old hunt, Phineas closes in as Lucas and Justine's connection deepens.

Phineas

Baritone | The Hunter

After his father died hunting the creature, Phineas took up his ancestor’s legacy, sacrificing home and family for the last 20 years so his niece, the last in their bloodline, will never face the same horror.

Lucas

High Tenor | Immortal

Cursed with immortality and a need for blood, hunted by the same family for 300 years, he believes himself damned, until he meets Justine. If he’s capable of love, is he capable of redemption?

Justine

Soprano | The Heiress

Last of the Raybourne bloodline, she may be sheltered, but she refuses to be controlled. While her father schemes for a strategic marriage, she risks everything to claim the love she finds in Lucas.

Mezzo Soprano | The Maid

As Justine’s maid and confidante, this fiercely loyal French firebrand is a hopeless romantic who has carried a torch for Phineas since their first and only kiss thirteen years ago.

Richard inherited a near-ruined barony and his ancestorial “hunt” for the creature when his father died. He refused the hunt, determined to rebuild their fortune and status, including marrying Justine well.
