IMMORTAL the Musical is a story of hope, redemption, and second chances in the same music style as PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, WICKED, & LES MISÉRABLES.

SHORT BLURB:

England 1792. For 300 years, an immortal who survives on blood has traveled the world to escape the family hunting him. Phineas, the current hunter, injures Lucas and loses him in the night. Thirsty and weakened enough to break his cardinal rule (never take a victim near home), Lucas attends the neighboring baron’s ball and meets Justine. His silent heart beats for the first time in centuries. If he is capable of love, is he capable of redemption? And will Justine’s uncle Phineas discover his identity and end him before he can find out?

The Cast (paid flat fee depending on part between $1100 and $1500):

• Phineas: Tevye (Fiddler on the Roof) meets Javert (Les MisÉrables) - 40’s. Baritone. (F#2-F#4)
• Lucas: Ingénue (tall, dark, handsome, brooding) - 20-30. High Tenor. (B2-B4)
• Justine: Ingénue - age 18-27, soprano. (A3-D6)
• Sophia: French, comedic, spunky - 30’s. Soprano. (B3-E5)
• Richard (& Apothecary): Phineas' older brother & a nobleman. Late 40-50's. Bass. (E2-C4)
• Miriam (& Gossiper 3 Maid): 50-65. Alto.
• Simon (& Elizabeth’s Father): Middle-aged. Tenor. Dry humor.
• Lady DuGent (& Gossiper 2/Woman 1): Contra alto. Booming voice and larger than life; opposite physically to Sir Dugent. 30’s-60’s.
• Sir DuGent: Short, skinny, squeaky voice. 40’s-70’s. Tenor.
• Elizabeth (& Lady 2): 15-25. Soprano. Blood-curdling scream.
• Man 1 (Priest): Baritone.
• Gossiper 1 (& Maid): 30-45. Mezzo soprano.
• Man 2: Bass.
• STAGE DIRECTION NARRATOR: Narrative voice, strong ability to recognize music cues.

Volunteer positions (non-paid):

• Chorus: 8-10 STRONG sight readers for chorus numbers and background singers.
• Makeup specialists
• Sound technician (live performance and rehearsals)
